Mike brings 15 years of experience in analyst practice to MI&S. He spent those years at Enterprise Strategy Group — through its evolution as part of TechTarget, Omdia, and Informa — rising to practice director for data management, analytics, and AI. In that role, he led a research practice focused on helping enterprise technology vendors improve go-to-market strategies, product development, and content creation across the rapidly evolving data landscape. He watched cloud rewrite the infrastructure playbook, saw data platforms become the center of enterprise strategy, and now brings that hard-earned perspective to bear on AI’s transformation of the market.
Mike’s work is grounded in a strong technical and strategic foundation: Early roles in software and hardware engineering gave him fluency in product feasibility and performance, while his marketing background sharpened his ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for clients. He is known for the quality of his relationships as much as the quality of his research.
He holds a B.S. in computer science from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.
