Michael Dell is chairman and chief executive officer of Dell Technologies, an innovator and technology leader providing the essential infrastructure for organizations to build their digital future, transform IT and protect their most important information.
Dell Technologies is one of the world’s largest IT companies serving the needs of global corporations and governments to small businesses and consumers. Michael’s story started when he founded Dell Technologies with $1000 in 1984 at the age of 19. Notably quoted as saying that “technology is about enabling human potential,” Michael’s vision of how technology should be designed, manufactured and sold forever changed the IT industry. In 1992, Michael became the youngest CEO ever to earn a ranking on the Fortune 500. Known and admired for his astute business vision and bold moves, Michael took Dell Technologies private in 2013, setting the stage to architect the largest technology deal in history with the combination of Dell, EMC and VMware in 2016 and the subsequent relisting of Dell Technologies on the public markets in 2018.
In 1998, Michael formed MSD Capital, now DFO Management, a private investment firm that exclusively manages the capital for the Dell family. And in 1999, he established his family foundation, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, with the mission of building pathways that change lives throughout the world.
Michael is an honorary member of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum and is an executive committee member of the International Business Council. He is also a member of the Technology CEO Council and the Business Roundtable. He serves on the advisory board of Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management in Beijing, China and on the governing board of the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India. He is Chairman of the BDT & MSD Advisory Board, and also served as the United Nations Foundation's first Global Advocate for Entrepreneurship. Michael is the author of two books, Direct from Dell and Play Nice But Win.
A seasoned leader with 25+ years of experience, JJ Davis oversees all aspects of Global Communications and Environmental Social Governance for Dell Technologies. In this role, she works cross-functionally to foster alignment and advocacy across the diverse stakeholder landscape for the company.
Her global team includes media relations, industry analyst relations, executive communications, team member communications, sales and partner communications, influencer relations, social media, social impact and innovation, and corporate ESG and sustainability.
JJ started her public relations and public affairs career at the Arkansas Office of the Governor and has held various communications leadership roles for both corporations and agencies nationwide.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, JJ lives in Austin with her husband David, a third-generation entrepreneur, and three sons. She is active in her boys’ sports and the family foundation, The Aimee Melissa Davis Memorial Scholarship, supporting graduating seniors with Juvenile Diabetes.
Jeetu Patel is Cisco’s President and Chief Product Officer. He combines a bold vision, steeped in product design and development expertise, operational rigor, and innate market understanding to create high growth businesses. He is relentlessly focused on building world class products that solve Cisco customers’ biggest problems—bringing the power of the Cisco portfolio together to connect and protect every aspect of their organization in the era of AI.
Previously he was Cisco’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of Security and Collaboration where he led the strategy and development for these businesses and held P&L responsibility for the multibillion-dollar portfolio. In this role, Jeetu led with his creative vision and intense focus on innovation and swift execution. Together with his team, he transformed and positioned our Security and Collaboration portfolios for success and growth. In both areas, he reinvigorated organic innovation, championed key inorganic investments, and drove simplification across these portfolios with a fanatical focus on design and user experience.
Prior to joining Cisco in 2020, Jeetu was the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Box, a role he pioneered. He led the company’s product and platform strategy, setting the company’s long-term vision and roadmap for cloud content management in the enterprise. He transformed Box from a single product application to a multi-product platform used by 100K customers representing 69% of the Fortune 500. The discipline, quality standards, performance metrics, and stability Jeetu instilled fueled the platform’s growth – nearly quadrupling revenues to $700M+. Box’s growth scaled to reach over 60M users with over 50% of customers using multiple products. He also created the Box Platform business unit where he led product strategy, marketing and developer relations – driving products from incubation stage to mature offerings.
Before joining Box, Jeetu was General Manager and Chief Executive of EMC’s newly acquired Syncplicity business unit, a cloud service for Enterprise File Sync Sharing (EFSS) and collaboration. One of the first SaaS-based solutions offered by EMC, Jeetu spearheaded the company’s acquisition. He created a world class leadership team, secured some of the market’s largest customers and led the group to become one of the fastest growing EFSS companies in a highly competitive market. Other key roles at EMC included CMO for the Information Intelligence Group and Chief Strategy Officer, where he drove the organic and inorganic strategy for the division’s cloud and mobile growth.
Previously, Jeetu was President of Doculabs, a research and advisory firm co-owned by Forrester Research. The firm focused on collaboration and content management across a range of industries including financial services, insurance, energy, manufacturing, and life sciences.
He currently serves on the boards of JLL, an American commercial real estate services company, and Equinix, Inc., a digital infrastructure company.
Jeetu holds a B.S. in Information Decision Sciences from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his family.
Govind Balakrishnan is Senior Vice President and General Manager, responsible for Adobe Express and Digital Media Services. During his 19+ years at Adobe, his passion has been to build tools and runtimes that cultivate creativity on all platforms. He was the creator of Flash Lite before becoming responsible for the Flash Platform. He has spent the last few years developing and driving the Creative Cloud mobile and services strategy and the Creative Cloud mobile app portfolio. More recently he has taken responsibility for Adobe Express. Prior to joining Adobe, Govind was an Architect of Maya 3D, Autodesk’s Oscar award-winning 3D modeling and animation software.
Nikesh Arora joined as chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks in June 2018. Before joining Palo Alto Networks, Nikesh served as president and chief operating officer of SoftBank Group Corp. Prior to that, he held a number of positions at Google, Inc. during a 10-year span, including senior vice president and chief business officer, president of global sales operations and business development, and president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Google, Nikesh held the role of chief marketing officer for the T-Mobile International Division of Deutsche Telekom AG. He was chief executive officer and founder of T-Motion PLC, which merged with T-Mobile International in 2002.
Nikesh serves on the board of Compagnie Financière Richemont S.A., a public Switzerland-based luxury goods holding company, and Tipping Point, a non-profit organization that fights poverty in the Bay Area. Previously, he served on the boards of SoftBank Group Corp., Sprint Corp., Colgate-Palmolive Inc. and Yahoo! Japan, among others. He holds an M.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University, an M.S. in finance from Boston College and a B. Tech. in electrical engineering from the Institute of Technology at Banaras Hindu University.
Sangyeun “Paul” Cho serves as President of Samsung Semiconductor and Corporate EVP of Samsung Electronics, responsible for Samsung's U.S. semiconductor business, which includes Memory, Foundry, and System LSI.
With over 18 years at Samsung, Cho has held leadership roles in Korea and the US. He founded the Memory Solutions Lab, pioneering innovations like in-storage computing and multi-streamed solid-state drives, which are now industry standards. Cho also led server-class SSD software engineering and security initiatives. Previously, he spent nearly a decade in academia as a professor at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on computer architecture. Cho holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. from Seoul National University.
Karan Batta is Senior Vice President of Product at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). He is responsible for strategic product initiatives including GPU, AI and Multicloud. Karan’s organization also supports OCI’s largest and most strategic customer’s ensuring that OCI is delivering the right services and features to those customers as well as implementing the operational workflows necessary to make Oracle’s customers successful.
Karan joined Oracle in 2017 as one the of first members of OCI working to define the core product portfolio including compute, storage, and networking. He has held many roles within OCI that expanded OCI’s product portfolio, including leading roles running compute, GPU, platform features, multicloud products, and OCI’s GTM strategy.
Prior to joining Oracle, Karan worked in the core engineering team at Microsoft as part of Microsoft Azure Compute where he worked on AI infrastructure such as GPUs and FPGAs along with managed batch services. Prior to Microsoft he was an early part of a startup called GreenButton in New Zealand that provided visual effects services on multiple cloud providers. GreenButton was acquired by Microsoft. Karan is based in Seattle WA.
Esam Elashmawi is Lattice Semiconductor’s Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer. Esam has played a critical role in Lattice’s transformation since joining Lattice in 2018. As Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, Esam spearheaded the Company’s strategic transformation leading to rapid product portfolio expansion and launch of multiple new hardware and software solutions. Esam brings to the role over 30 years of technology industry experience, having successfully managed and developed solutions and equipment for the datacenter, automotive, defense, communications and industrial markets.
Prior to joining Lattice, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Microsemi Corporation since 2010, where he successfully grew multiple acquisitions and divisions. Esam also previously served as Vice President of Product Development at Actel Corporation, which Microsemi acquired in 2010. Earlier in his career he co-founded SiliconExpert Technologies, a component management software company, which was acquired by Arrow Electronics. Esam holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
Dave Shull is President of HP Solutions.
As head of this business, he integrates HP’s portfolio of hardware, services, and software to improve employee experiences, provide flexibility, and deliver peace of mind for global organizations.
Joining HP from Poly, where he held the role as President and CEO, Dave brings to HP over 25 years of senior leadership experience in business transformation, complex business partnerships, operations, and corporate development having built, led, and reinvigorated brands including TiVo, Weather Channel and Dish.
Dave serves as board member and advisor to a number of technology start-ups, and also supports a group of charities addressing ultra-poverty.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Oxford University.
Dave is based in Denver, Colorado.
